The research and development of dross press, dross pan and other equipment has greatly helped enterprises reduce operating costs, improve the quality and recovery rate of aluminum recovery, ensure the safety of operators, bring a lot of convenience to enterprises, and simplify the smelting process.
To ensure safe operation, our slag presses are equipped with interlocking and integrated safety features, and the processor has implemented additional measures, protocols and precautions to further improve the safety of the dross presses.
Our dross press is designed for safe and continued operation in the casthouse for treatment of hot dross. For this reason, water glycol hydraulic fluids are required. Many types of water glycol fluids are acceptable and available at most locations in the world. Oil based and most synthetic hydraulic fluids are unsafe and unacceptable and thus, their use in dross press voids the warranty on the system.
The system is equipped with electrical interlocked doors. Dross press will not start the pressing cycle if any of the doors are not completely closed.
Dross press is equipped with a skim pot positioning indicator, which tells the operator that the pot is positioned properly inside the pressing chamber. If engaged the system can run in either auto or manual. If not engaged the system will not run.
Metal splash guard door shield moves up and down with the press head preventing dross or aluminum from moving outside the press. The personnel safety monitor is set so that in a radius of 10 ft (3 meters) in front of the press, the area must be clear of people and trucks for the unit to operate. Optional safety gate and total closure doors can be added if requested.
Our dross presses meet or exceed all applicable ANSI, CE, JIC, OSHA and safety requirements. It ensures the safety in production, and the intelligent system solves the problem of handling a variety of different dregs, bringing more benefits to the enterprise.
