Xian Huan-Tai Dross pans, slag bins, and sow moulds offer an increased lifetime, higher in-house recoveries and improve the working environment for operators.

We developed the HT thermal shock resistance enhanced cast steel material in response to the desire of dross pan users for longer service life where the common failure is the cracks.
With repeated trails, we were able to enable our dross pans to last equal to or longer than the popular materials they often use at the same or lower cost. Additionally, our material has excellent weldability where the customer can easily get good quality weld repairs for the pans without pre-heating.

Due to its enhanced thermal shock resistance, our proprietary material performed well as expected for sow mold application where the molten aluminum has lower temperature than the aluminum dross.

Additionally, our manufacturing process is specially controlled to cast the steel sold, and the inner surface is upgraded and inspected to minimize surface and near subsurface defects, which if not detected and removed, could easily trigger cracks in the repeated thermal shocks in the application.
